Marion W. Horton (1888-1964) family from Patrick County VA.?

My husband is trying to find his Great-Grandfathers family. He was given away after he was born and that is where our family tree stops. We would like to know more about his parents and also his brothers and sisters if he had any. We think that some of the family is from Carroll County, VA.
