The great Gatsby essay help please?

It's been a while since I read it.....perhaps she is hiding behind the mask of her wealth pretending she has everything a woman of the era would want; yet, behind the mask is a depraved and/or shallow person? As for proof, if what I wrote makes sense to you and since it's not a very big book it should be fairly easy to find examples.
