Does co-owning a mobile home disqualify me for the $8000 FTHB tax credit?

I am the co-signer of a mobile home that i lived in for about 4-5 years my mom is the main person on the title, it is paid off and i only pay for the lot rent now....but i would like to move out and possibly buy a house..if i qualify or not for the $8k tax credit would probably help me make my decision if i wanna move just yet
