8 week old baby sweating?

My son has always sweated a lot since birth, sometimes when he wakes up his pj's will be completely soaked with sweat. I have a fan in his room and dress him lightly for bed with a light blanket but it still seems to be happening. I've heard that this could mean he's at risk for SIDS, does anyone know if this is true or not?
